With the Elomi Sports Bra being such a popular bra both with our in store and online customers, I thought I would share some answers to common questions we get about the Elomi Energise Sports Bra, often regarded as the best underwire plus size sports bra 💁🏽‍♀️

What sizes are available in the Elomi Energise Sports Bra?

One the the things we love most about the Elomi Energise Sports Bra is the truly great range of sizes it comes in. The Elomi Sports Bra is available in D-JJ cup, band sizes 10 - 24. However, not all cup sizes are produced in each band size. You can refer to my table below to determine which band sizes are available in each cup size.

Is the Elomi Sports Bra a high impact plus size Sports Bra?

Yes, we certainly consider the Elomi Energise a high impact plus size Sports Bra. Many of our customers use this bra for running, horse riding, zumba and netball. All of which are considered very high impact activities.

The Elomi Energise is a rare find, as not only is it suitable for high impact exercise - but it is comfortable for long periods of wear. This is why a lot of our Elomi Energise customers will use this sports bra as a "work to workout", putting it on at 7am and not taking it off until after their evening workout.

Elomi Energise Fitting Guide

The Elomi EL8041 Sports Bra fits fairly true to size. It's not uncommon for us to go down a band size and up a cup size for those 'between sizes', in our in store bra fittings.

So for example if you find the bra sizes you usually buy are a 14GG/16G then we would recommend going with the 14GG. Remember, we want the band that runs around our ribcage nice and snug in a sports bra as this is what works to control breast displacement during activity.

How to wash an Elomi Energise Sports Bra?

Hand washing the Elomi Energise Sports Bra is strongly recommended.

We don't recommend washing this style in the washing machine due to the risk of the underwire snapping, the underwires coming out of their casing or the hooks catching the fabrics. This advice goes for any underwire sports bra.

Washing your Sports Bra as per the recommendations on the tag is very important to get the best lifespan out of your bras, but also to ensure if something does go wrong your consumer rights are protected.

Elomi Energise Sports Bra v Panache Sports Bra

We're often asked, "which is better the Elomi Sports Bra or the Panache Sports Bra?"

We find those who prefer an unmoulded lighter feeling bra will prefer the Elomi Energise.

While those who want more structure via the use of foam moulded cups will prefer the Panache Sports Bra.

We tend to find the Elomi Energise works on more ladies than the Panache, not just because it is produced in more sizes, but because the cups fit a broader variety of breast volumes and shapes.
