Brooks Sports Bras x Moving Comfort Bras
The Brooks Sports Bra range was previously known as the 'Moving Comfort' brand. Brooks are known for their high impact, technical Sports Bras produced in a great range of sizes for Australian women covering A - F cups. Known most famously for the Juno, Jubralee and Rebound Racer, Brooks has forged a reputation for their outstanding wirefree bras that look sporty and most importantly feel great.
Brooks Juno - Why was it discontinued?
The Brooks Juno was sadly discontinued in 2020. This is why the Brooks Juno is no longer available on our site. Brooks discontinued the Juno bra to make way for an innovative collection of running bras.
The new Brooks running bra range includes the Dare and the Drive range of bras that can be found on our website.
We find customers who loved the Brooks Juno are now wearing the Ultimate Run Bra Padded.
Is Moving Comfort now known as Brooks?
Yes, Brooks bought the Moving Comfort brand many years ago. The two companies started to work together in 2004 and by 2014 Brooks had begun rebranding the Moving Comfort range to Brooks.
Moving Comfort was originally founded by Ellen Wessel and Elizabeth Goeke in 1977. It made a name for it's high impact range of running bras suitable for larger cup sizes.
The brands flagship bra, the Juno, was actually the bra that inspired the formation of She Science. We're sad to say that this style has since been discontinued, despite it being a huge part of the brands history.
Brooks Running Bras
In 2019 Brooks remarketed its Sports Bra range to its 'Run Bra' range.
This slight language tweak was designed to demonstrate the extensive research they conducted in to what female women wanted in a run bra. Brooks have established themselves as one of the world's leading run brands and they wanted this focused expertise to be reflected across their brand.
While the brand now labels Brooks Sports Bras as Brooks Run Bras you can of course use these bras for any range of activities.
