What are Sports Briefs?

Sports briefs or sports underwear is specifically designed for active women. While fabrics will differ from brand to brand, most sports underwear on the market is made of material that wicks moisture from the skin.

What are the benefits of Sports Underwear?

When you find your perfect match Sports Underwear should do the following:

  • Stay in place while you're being active
  • Control moisture by pulling it away from the above
  • Provide a flattering line under firm fitting sports apparel

Which Sports Underwear style is best? Sports G-String, Sports Hipster or Sports Full Brief?

There is no clear direction we can point you as it really depends on your personal style preferences.

Sports G-Strings will generally only be tolerated by women who are used to wearing a G-String or Thong daily. Moving from a Sports Brief to a Sports G-String can be quite a shock  so we recommend trying this around the home before heading out for a workout in a new Sports G-String.

Sports Briefs or Sports Full briefs are typically favoured by women who like to feel secure around the tummy as these are generally high coverage around the tummy.

Sports Hipsters suit those who want more coverage than a g-string, but whom don't like underwear near to or up to their belly button.

How do you wash Sports Briefs?

We recommend placing your Sports Briefs in a wash/lingerie bag before putting them on a short cold or warm machine wash. Unless your garments tags say otherwise as this can vary depending on the particular fabric in the garment.

A wash bag will prevent your Sports Underwear from getting twisted and stretched in the machine. Machine washing in general can be tough on any garment so protecting your pieces in a wash bag is a great way to prevent unnecessary damage.

You can buy commercial 'delicates' wash to use in place of regular washing powder. These are generally speaking a great solution, but is a luxury not a necessity.
